I hope you had a good 4th of July Weekend – since we are back in the workweek with a lot of old news regurgitated:
I knew when we got the SolarWinds and Exchange server attacks back in the beginning of the year we could be attacked with a quicker frequency and it will get worse.
Unfortunately this is exactly what has happened.
Above image is from CISA (Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency) homeland security that will help you protect your computers if needed. You can contact them and get help that is what they are there for.
What should you do to prevent ransomware? Update and patch your computers and all devices, install and update an anti-virus software, and most important of all – backup your computer!!!
Make sure you have at least one backup that is not connected digitally to your computer (i.e. offline backup). This last point is likely the most important point of all.
Also you can buy my book to get educated with cybersecurity.
