In my upcoming book many things will be discussed including why it is necessary to test your backups and recover the data.
Why is this a big deal? Because if you do not take backups seriously and then when you actually need it, the backup better not have any problems. If you can’t actually recover the data what happens then?
In Murphy’s world (i.e. the circumstances which seem like one mistake after another) the time when you need a backup and then you do not have one is most likely the time ransomware is on your system
Or you could get the famous BSOD (Blue Screen of Death)
Yes there are a lot of reasons why you may need a backup, and I truly hope your backup is a good one.
